HOW TO SET THE PRICE FOR YOUR FIRST COURSE

Price setting is a boring and distasteful term to me. Prices MUST attract buyers and be FAIR for the VALUE or no one will buy! EVER!
I prefer to think I’m helping someone when I offer them a solution to their problem. I don’t sell using the term money, whether it’s earned or paid. I don’t twist my words to manipulate a buyer’s answer.
My focus in developing customers is developing relationships. Yes, I do charge for most of the courses I create and the value they provide.
Creators definitely need to be compensated for their efforts and their expertise. That's how they make a living and that's how they continue to furnish the good quality information that someone is about to purchase. Regular customers of this creator depend on this.
So, do you charge for the number of years it took you to get that knowledge that you are sharing? NO! That's kind of crazy! But you say the gurus charge big bucks, even thousands of dollars, for what they share.
If you really look at what most gurus sell as a course, it's totally generic. If you had the time and understanding of the topic you could put it together yourself doing online searches.
The reverse of this is when copycats do an AI (Artificial Intelligence) search of a topic then assemble and package it as their “expertise.” This is definitely NOT a good deal and it is NOT LEGAL.
When you work with me, you get the expertise I have experienced and tweaked over 20+ years. Just as important, you also get ME!

When you're buying a course it's important to know you're getting the value promised and that you expect, the knowledge to do what is being sold to you as the course. The course you buy should be in an easy to understand format. To me, that's a step by step format that is simple with no fluff or confusing instructions. How-to, deep dive support and the ability to brainstorm with a knowledgeable person are resources you may need as you grow your business.
Compare what I teach that is unique and one of a kind to what you get in a cookie cutter course or guru team.
I only teach proven steps to building your solo creator business. All that I teach is built on my experience turned to expertise in the 20+ years of having an online business. You might say my business and I grew up in tandem with the Internet.
Part of my course pricing is dependent on what I feel compensates me for my expertise and time.
Not everyone who wants to start a solo creator business has oodles of cash and time to journey down this road. Sometimes it is important to segment a course rather than make a course that is months long and super intense. Learning must be enjoyable and exciting, not a long, long chore.
All this leads to pricing that is fair for both my students and me.
So, as you’re creating your first course and we talk about pricing, I want you to know I will present several options and ultimately you will decide what is best for you, fair to you and fair to your students. Along with being fair, your course must have exceptional value. We’re going to develop this value and your expertise based on what your know and something specific that only you can provide. This eliminates competition!
